Honor has officially introduced the Honor X8d in Pakistan. The device arrives months after its global debut and now targets buyers in the lower midrange segment.

The smartphone focuses on display quality, camera resolution, and battery life. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant carries a price tag of Rs 69,999. Currently, the company offers only one memory option. However, users can expand storage through a microSD card.

Display and Design

The Honor X8d features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. In addition, it supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which ensures smoother scrolling and better visual fluidity.

An optical fingerprint sensor sits under the display for quick unlocking. Meanwhile, slim and balanced bezels give the phone a modern look.

Despite its large battery, the device remains just 7.5mm thin. The company uses a plastic frame to keep the weight manageable. Furthermore, the phone carries an IP65 rating, which protects it from dust and light water splashes.

Camera Features

Honor equips the device with a 108MP primary camera supported by Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). As a result, users can expect clearer photos with reduced blur.

Alongside the main sensor, the phone includes a 5MP ultra-wide camera for wider shots. On the front, a 16MP selfie camera sits inside a punchhole cutout.

However, video recording reaches up to 1080p at 30fps. This limitation reflects the capabilities of the installed chipset.

Performance and Software

The smartphone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 processor. For everyday tasks, the phone works smoothly. You can browse social media, watch videos, and move between apps without noticeable lag.

It ships with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage, giving users a reasonable amount of memory and space for everyday needs. For everyday use, the phone handles multiple apps easily and offers plenty of storage for photos, apps, and other personal files.

On the software side, the phone runs Android 15 with MagicOS 10. Consequently, users get updated features and interface improvements out of the box.

Battery and Charging

A key feature of the device is its large 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. This capacity stands out in the sub-Rs 70,000 category in Pakistan.

Thanks to the large battery, users can expect extended usage throughout the day. In addition, the handset supports 45W wired fast charging, which reduces charging time compared to standard solutions.

Extra Features

The device also includes:

  • Dual-band WiFi support

  • A single-speaker system

  • No 3.5mm headphone jack

Market Outlook

Overall, the Honor X8d combines a high-resolution camera, AMOLED display, and large battery capacity. Therefore, it appeals to users who prioritize screen quality and endurance.

However, the processor targets everyday performance rather than heavy gaming. As a result, the phone suits routine users more than power users.

At Rs 69,999, the Honor X8d enters a competitive midrange market in Pakistan with a feature-focused approach.
